The town
Rosendal, Eastern Free State
Rosendal is a charming town in the Eastern Free State, nestled between Senekal and Ficksburg and surrounded by the Witteberg Mountains. It's the antidote to city life — a place to slow down, breathe and rejuvenate.
A few years ago we watched the Witteberg disappear under snow. It doesn't happen often, but when it does, the view from the cabin is something else entirely.
